Fullstack Job: Applications Engineer

Küchenheld Tech disrupts the kitchen industry developing tools to allow employee and customer centric processes.

Who we are looking for

• A passionate coder, who is curious and always longs for learning something new,
• A dependable person, who trust us and who we can rely on,
• A creative mind that always looks for alternative tools and approaches to develop our stack, and

Ideally, you have more than two years of experience working in a predominantly JavaScript-driven environment. If you are at the start of your career or switched stacks, we would still love to hear from you. Here are some of the things we look out for:

• At least 1 year experience in ReactJS / Node.js
• Understanding of the RESTful/GraphQL architecture
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis,...)
• Mastery of TypeScript and React.js
• Experience with JavaScript ES5/ES6+, HTML5, CSS3
• Familiarity with any server frameworks (ExpressJS/NestJS/SailsJS,...)
• Familiarity with any UI frameworks (AntD, Bootstrap, MaterialUI, …)

Our current challenges

After starting to operate in 2019, we quickly grew to more than 150 employees and are now the fastest growing kitchen retailer in Europe. All of this growth is enabled and supported by a variety of internal and external tools. To support and accelerate our growth we need to continue to deliver intuitive and robust web-based solutions.

Your tasks

Your tasks will depend on your interests and your qualification. Currently we image your tasks to be:

• Collaborate with project managers to scope and refine product ideas
• Technically review and refine tickets
• Implement new features across our products
• Review code from freelancers and junior developers
• Support users with technical questions
